Goldovo. The Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God.

The town of Goldovo was first mentioned in written sources in the 15th century. In the 17th - 18th century, during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, it was part of the Lida district. There was an Orthodox wooden church in the town and annual fairs were held.

In 1795, a Uniate church was built in the center of the village, since the majority of the village population in those days in Belarus were Uniates. According to some researchers, the church was built on the site of the abandoned Trinity monastery of Basilan. The name Basiliana comes from the name of Basil the Great, a theologian and churchman who lived in the 4th century AD.

The church was built in the style of Belarusian folk architecture. It has a rectangular design in the plan. A multi-tiered four-tiered tower rises above the narthex, which is completed by an octagonal drum with an onion. At the top of the bulb there is a SunCross made by local craftsmen. The SunCross is a Christian cross in Belarus, which was made with sunlight. Such crosses were usually created in small towns and villages by local blacksmiths.

The interior of the church has a two-tiered iconostasis. A two-tiered bell tower is installed in front of the temple. The church has been renovated in recent years.
