Dailidki. Guardianship of the Blessed Virgin Mary church.

In the village of Dailidki, Ostrovets district, there is an unusual Catholic church of the guardianship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Back in the days of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the first Catholic parish was established in the village in the 18th century.

The church, which has survived to our time, was built during the time of the Polish state. In 1921, after the Peace of Riga, this region was under Poland by 1939 before the arrival of Soviet power.

The church was built by the foundation of landowners Lashkevich, Gutorovich from the Yuzulin estate, Kachan from the Novy Dvor estate and other patrons. The temple was built on the land of the Lashkevich gentry. The timber for the construction was brought from near the town of Ivye. A loan was also taken for the construction of 1960 zlotys, and the construction itself cost only 15,680 zlotys. The shrine was solemnly consecrated in October 1929 by Archbishop Romuald Yalbzhikovsky.

After the Great Patriotic War, the church was closed in 1949. A little later, a grain warehouse and a workshop of the M. Kalinin collective farm were built here. These institutions worked in the church from 1950 to 1989.

In November 1989, the shrine was re-consecrated and the first Mass was held after a 40-year hiatus.

The monument was erected in the Art Nouveau style. In 1991, three altars were built in the interior: the wards of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and St. Teresa.
