Pay attention to this green house with an attic – it is the oldest wooden pharmacy building in Belarus, built back in 1828.

This monument of wooden architecture, first mentioned in 1828, is a typical example of the development of Western Belarusian cities and towns of the early 19th century. A pharmacy has been functioning properly in this building for almost 150 years.

The first floor was occupied by the pharmacy itself, where medicines were manufactured and sold, and the second floor housed the owner's living quarters.

In 1893, the Pruzhany pharmacy was included in the directory of the most famous pharmacy institutions in pre-revolutionary Russia. The building was used for its intended purpose until the 1970s.

This building miraculously managed to survive during the wars and the rule of the Soviet government, while retaining its authentic appearance.

Today, the 'Prestige' Household House is located here, part of the premises is occupied by shops. The building is recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Belarus.
