Lake Nedrovo.

Due to the purity of the water, which has a bright blue color on a sunny day, as well as the forested shores, many bays and capes, it is considered one of the most beautiful lakes. One of the best views of the lake and other bodies of water located nearby is from the top of the Maskovichi settlement.

Nedrovo can claim to be the most historic lake. This unique archaeological site dates back to the 7th century BC - 13th century AD and preserves traces of the presence of three peoples: the Balts, Slavs and Scandinavians.

An ecological trail begins nearby, which introduces tourists to the Slobodkovskaya lake ridge, running along the northern shore of the lake. From the top of the hillfort, you can see the nearby lakes that formed the so-called Slobodkovskaya group. In addition to Nedrovo, these include Potekh, Nespish and others.

At the end of the ecological trail there is a former firing range used by Polish border guards. Not far from the eastern shore is the village of Slobodka and its main attraction is the catholic church of the Providence of God, built in 1903.

The lake's surface area is 3.72 km2, with a maximum depth of 12.2 m and an average depth of about 5 m. The coastline is 15 km long. The slopes of the lake, which reach a height of 10 m, are overgrown with meadows and shrubs, and the Ozovaya Ridge is a rare coniferous forest.

The lake has three islands, with a total area of 2 hectares. The lake is well-flowing. Due to the fact that the Nedrovo is connected to other lakes, it becomes possible to make multi-day water trips here.

The juniper woodlands located here are interesting, which are rarely found on the territory of Belarus. The height of individual plants exceeds 2 m. In summer, the surface of the water is covered with water lilies and other aquatic plants. The thickets on the shores are a feature of the lake. Shallow water, sandy lake, up to 4 m - the bottom is muddy, and deeper it is polluted with sapropel.

Lake Nedrovo belongs to the type of autotrophic lakes (that is, rich in nutrients) and it is used less often as a place of recreation, and more often for industrial and amateur fishing.

Fish riches attract fishing enthusiasts to Nedrovo. The lake is home to bream, walleye, perch, roach, eel, pike, crucian carp, tench and other fish species. Commercial fishing is carried out, paid amateur fishing is organized. Popular hiking trails run along the lake.

Traveling along this beautiful lake, you can get not only aesthetic pleasure, but also enrich your knowledge about the history and natural resources of the Braslav region.
