Benitsa. The Intercession Orthodox Church.

Between Molodechno and Smorgon is the village of Benitsa, which traces its history back to the beginning of the 16th century. The owners here were representatives of various famous families.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the place passed from the Kotell family to the Shvykovs. After the anti-Russian uprising, the former Trinity Church was converted into an Orthodox church.

In 1864, and according to some sources in 1886, a canonical Orthodox church was built on the Trading Square, opposite the former catholic church, at which the national school worked. The church was consecrated in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. During the Polish period at the beginning of the 20th century, the former Trinity Church was returned to Catholic believers.

In Soviet times, after the Great Patriotic War, both the church and the church were closed. A warehouse was made in the church. In recent years, the Orthodox church has been restored.

The temple is made of stone, built of rubble stone. The building is rectangular in plan. Covered gable roof. A wooden two-tiered bell tower has been built above the entrance: an octagon on a quad. The side facades have arched windows. The temple is fenced with a stone fence.
