The chapel is a Neo-Gothic tomb in the local Catholic cemetery.

The first mention of the settlement of Lebedevo was in the 16th century. It is known that at that time there were six streets, several manors and temples, the main enterprise was a distillery.

The chapel-tomb was built at the local cemetery in the early 20th century. It is not known exactly who built the chapel. The last owners were the Sventorzhetsky family. There is an assumption that the chapel was erected by their order.  The mention of the Sventorzhetsky family dates back to the middle of the 17th century. In Belarus, they had a number of family estates, the main part of which was near Minsk.

The chapel itself is very spectacular and interesting. It is of interest to both ordinary tourists and those who are interested in architecture. It is noticeable that the brick walls of the chapel are laid out quite artfully, they have an ornamental relief. The building itself is decorated with stucco elements, there are a lot of them here. On the turrets of the chapel, located on the roof, we see forged crosses, and the windows are decorated with stained glass. The entrance to the crypt is visible from the side.

The chapel managed to survive wars and other adverse periods, and survived, remaining in excellent condition. For some time, after the wooden church burned down in Lebedevo in 1938, it served as a parish church. It was not used in Soviet times and was returned to believers only in the 1990s.

An unknown tombstone is located near the walls of the chapel, most likely belonging to its founders. In the cemetery itself, where the chapel is located, there are burials of the late 19th century with inscriptions on the tombstones, mainly in Polish.

A very interesting chapel: it looks like a new building, but in fact it is more than 100 years old!
