Luschiki. The Akhrenovsky Estate.

     In the Myadel district, in the village of Luschiki, near lake Svir, there is the Akhrenovsky estate. The estate was built in the early 20th century during the Russian Empire and has a small area of about four hectares.

       The dominant feature of the estate is the owner's stone house. The building is two-storeyed, built of brick in the Art Nouveau style. Some researchers call the architectural style neo-Renaissance. The contour lines of the walls are highlighted with white rustication and a beautiful decorative finish is obtained against a background of red brick. The building is dominated by a two-tiered four-tiered tower.

        The side facades of the building are completed with figured shields. There are balconies with an artistic metal fence. Tile stoves have been preserved in the interior. There are two roads leading to the front parterre, which are planted with alleys of Maple and Alder.

         A park has been created behind the manor house, which has been partially preserved. Linden trees, ash trees, maples and oaks grew on the lawn. There was a farmyard from which several stone buildings were preserved, including a stable and an arched bridge.

       Now there is a medical facility in the estate.
