Stolbun. St. Nicholas Church.

Architecturally, the temple is made in a traditional style, its shape resembles a cross, which symbolizes spiritual significance and connection with the sky. The church faces the main street on one side and the picturesque river on the other, making it not only a religious but also a cultural center for local residents.

After the revolution of 1917, the temple building was transferred to the club, then used as a granary, after which it became a club again. These changes in the purpose of the building reflected the complex historical processes taking place in the country at that time.

In 1989, after many years of neglect, the church was returned to the Orthodox Church, and work began on its restoration at the expense of parishioners. The northern wall and bell tower were restored, doors, windows, and fence were installed, the roof and floor were replaced, interior work was completed, heating and lighting were carried out. During these works, ancient burials were discovered, which indicates a deep historical layer associated with this place.

Not far from the temple, just a kilometer away, is the miraculous spring of the Holy Great Martyr Paraskeva, known among locals as the "Widow's Spring". This spring attracts pilgrims and tourists who want to touch the shrine.

In 2005, a winter temple was erected on the territory of the temple, which was consecrated in 2010. This event was a significant step in the development of the parish and the expansion of worship opportunities, especially during the cold season.

The Church of St. Nicholas in Stolbun continues to be an important spiritual and cultural center for the local population, preserving its history and traditions for centuries.
