Morino. Church of the 19th century.
The Church of the Holy Trinity in Morino was (most possible) built on the site where the Catholic church once stood, as there are ancient Catholic burial grounds around. The temple was built in 1865 in the center of the village. The building is wooden. In Soviet times, the building was neglected. Restovration took place and the church is now open to visitors. The Holy Trinity Church in Morino is a monument of folk architecture built in the modern style. The rectangular vestibule is built under a gable roof. The main volume of the building, the prayer hall, consists of 2 volumes: the cube-shaped main volume becomes 8-sided. An octagonal drum with an onion is built above the prayer hall. An apse is attached to the prayer hall. The church has a one-story wooden iconostasis. If you walk around this small church, you will get the impression that this Orthodox church is very similar to a fairy tale.
