Karatsk. The tomb chapel.

In the town of Karatsk in the Kletsk district, the stone chapel of the Chernotsky family and the farmstead have been preserved to this day. Getting to Karatsk is not difficult at all. In the Kletsk district, if you turn south from the R–43 Slutsk–Ivatsevichi highway, then there is a place a few kilometers from the highway.

By modern standards, Karatsk is a large village of several hundred people, which has the status of an agro-town. It is a member of the Golinkovo village Council. During the time of the Russian Empire in the 19th century, there was a Chernotsky estate in the village. Only the stone chapel, the outbuildings and part of the park with century-old trees have survived to our time.

The chapel is made of stone. It was built in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. The temple is rectangular in plan. Covered gable roof. The main facade is decorated with a triangular pediment. There is a memorial plaque on the chapel with the inscription that Jadwiga Chernotskaya from the Moshinsky family is buried here.

The outbuilding is located near the chapel. A red brick building has been erected. Covered gable roof. There are old trees from the manor park around the building and the tomb chapel.
