Description
Mankovichi Park is a natural monument of national importance, the history of which is closely connected with the princely family of the Radziwills. The park is located on the left bank of the Goryn River and includes more than thirty-five species of plants such as black pine, northern oak, white fir and American linden.
There are two alleys in the park. The main alley, ten meters wide and about a kilometer long, runs through the entire park, with maples growing every ten meters. The second, narrower alley runs along the northern edge of the park and begins on the western side, adjacent to the main alley.

Stolin. Mankovichi Park
There is a large foundation stone in the park with the name of the founder — Princess Maria Dorota de Castellane, wife of Anthony Radziwill, and the date — 1885. The style of the park is close to the Old Park in Nesvizh. The park combines romantic and regular motifs. An old oak tree points to the place where the palace was located. After the death of the prince (adjutant Jozef Pilsudski), the residence passed to his nephew Karol Radziwill, a passionate hunter, and became attractive to the aristocracy of Poland and Europe, who came here to participate in hunts.
In the XVI century, under Nikolai Radziwill the Black, the David-Gorodok ordination of the Radziwills was founded, which did not have its own residence until the end of the XIX century. When it became necessary to build a new estate, the choice fell on a picturesque place on a high terrace above Kopanets in the Mankovichi estate.
The park was first damaged at the beginning of the 20th century with the outbreak of the First World War, when century-old oaks were cut down. Today, only a few of these ancient trees remain. During the Second World War, the destruction of rare plants continued. The area of the park has been reduced from 50 hectares to less than 23.
In 1943, the palace burned down, and the retreating Nazis took away the original cast gates of the park. However, despite this, the ancient park with large clearings, beautiful compositions and many exotic plants (about 35 species of introduced plants) continues to surprise and inspire. In the park there is the Stolin Museum of Local Lore with a rich exposition highlighting the history of the Radziwills residence, a memorial stone, a group of boulders with sacred signs, and one of the entrances is decorated with wrought-iron gates transferred from the Novo-Berezhnoye estate.
