Kossovo. St. Anthony's Church.

The small town of Kossovo, Ivatsevichi district, is known for its numerous architectural monuments and museums. To see everything, you need to come here for the whole day. First of all, the guests visit the Puslovsky Palace and the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Museum.

There are also several religious buildings in the center of the village. Among them is the 19th-century Orthodox stone church of St. Anthony, which is located in the center of the village. The first church in Kosovo was built during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 16th century.

The stone church of St. Anthony was built in 1868 on the very spot where the previous temple was, which was destroyed by fire. The new church was built on the foundation of the Puslovsky family and with the help of Count Muravyov and local authorities. Donations were also collected by local parishioners.

The monument was erected according to a standard design in the retrospective – Russian style. The temple consists of four canonical main parts: the vestibule, the refectory, the prayer hall and the apse. A multi-tiered bell tower has been erected above the vestibule. An octagonal drum with an onion dome rises above the main volume.

A stone fence has been erected around the church grounds. The church has been renovated in recent years.
