Description
A stone Catholic chapel and a Gunter estate were built in the Smorgon district in the village of Dobrovlyany. The estate remains a park, a pond, a chapel and several outbuildings. The chapel was built in the 19th century in the neoclassical style. In Soviet times, the chapel was closed and the building came to decline. In the early 1990s, the church was handed over to Catholics and repairs were carried out. The chapel has been operating since 1993.

In the village of Dobrovlyany, Smorgon district, there is a Catholic chapel, which was consecrated in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and the estate of the Gunther family.
The estate in Dobrovlyany has been known since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania since the 16th century. During the existence of the estate, there have been different owners here.
During the time of the Russian Empire, in 1818, the town was acquired by Count Adam Gunther. His family had a daughter, who became a famous writer and poet, memoirist Gabriel Albina Gunther (1815-1869), who used the pseudonym and cryptonym "G.G", which means "Gabrielle Gunther". Who became Gabrielle's sister after her marriage. In her youth, Gabriela lived in a manor house with her parents in Dobrovlyany, where various cultural and educational figures visited. Among them is the famous Belarusian and Polish writer Ignat Khodko, who later became the editor of her first poetry collection. The artist Jan Damel, the poet, a friend of Adam Mickiewicz, Thomas Zan, the artist Jan Rustem, Maria Szymanowski and many other famous figures also visited here.
A Catholic chapel was built in the manor in 1826 in the neoclassical style. According to other information, the temple was built at the end of the 19th century. In Soviet times, the temple was closed and fell into disrepair. In the early 1990s– the building was handed over to believers and repairs began. In 1993, the church was consecrated. The monument is made of stone, it has a rectangle in plan. Covered gable roof.
