Ecotrope "Secrets of the Forest": a journey into the world of nature and legends.

A unique ecological trail "Secrets of the Forest" has opened in the picturesque lands of the Zaslavl forestry, a large-scale project of the Minsk Forestry, dedicated to the celebration of the City Day and the regional "Dazhynki-2025" festival. This is not just a walking route, but an open-air educational complex that organically combines environmental education, history and ancient myths of Belarus.

What awaits the visitors.

The route includes 26 interactive stations where you can explore the forest flora and fauna: recognize trees by their leaves, identify plants by their smell and perform exciting tasks. A leisurely walk with information reading takes about an hour - this is the optimal time so as not to tire the children.

The main goal of the creators is environmental education and the formation of a careful attitude towards the outside world. The trail was conceived as a way to take the educational process beyond the walls of the museum, offering visitors an immersion in the world of nature.

Attractions on the route.

The Children's Museum of Mythology and Forests is the only museum of its kind in Belarus, opened in September 2005 in the building of the Zaslavl Forestry. The exhibition introduces pagan deities (Rod, Perun, Veles, Lada) and characters of lower mythology - Brownie, Water, Goblin, Ghoul. The tours are accompanied by theatrical performances, sounds and special effects. The museum is divided into two zones - the real forest and the mythological forest, which allows children to understand how our ancestors saw the world around them.

A pillbox from the time of the Great Patriotic War is a defensive structure that was part of the "Stalin Line". This object has become an important reminder of the heroic past of Belarus and is included in the exposition complex of the museum-reserve.

Art objects and forest figures - wooden sculptures of forest inhabitants and interactive stands are installed throughout the route, which delight young visitors.

Practical information.

Museum address: 43 Embankment Street, Minsk region, Zaslavl (Children's Museum of Mythology and Forests).

Tickets to the museum can be purchased at the museum and exhibition complex at 4 Market Street. All museum facilities - the museum and exhibition complex, the Museum of the Belarusian baby, the ethnographic complex "Mill", "Forge", the Children's Museum of Mythology and Forests and the "Pillbox" Museum - are within walking distance from each other.

The trail is accessible to visitors of all ages - wide paths, recreation areas are equipped, and a clearing for tea drinking with forest herbs is planned nearby. This is especially true for family walks: teachers have already noted that the trail will be a great addition to weekend hiking classes.

The Secrets of the Forest ecotrope has become a landmark event for the region, successfully combining education, recreation and respect for nature.

Come to Zaslavl with the whole family - everyone will find something interesting here: from educational discoveries to quiet walks in the fresh air among the centuries-old forests and legends.
