Yushkovichi. The ruins of the church.

In the Myadel district, in the village of Yushkovichi, the ruins of a Catholic church have been preserved.

There was a Uniate church in Yushkovichi during the Russian Empire in the early 19th century. In 1863, the Orthodox Church in Yushkovichi belonged to the church in Myadel. In 1868, the church was completely renovated.

In 1904, there was a Kuprevich farmstead, the Leonovich estate and the Nafranovich dungeon in the village. Yushkovichi was part of the Vilno province of the Vileika district.

After the Soviet–Polish war and the Peace of Riga in 1921, the village of Yushkovichi passed to the Polish state until the arrival of Soviet power in 1939. At that time, a Catholic church was built in Yushkovichi.

The church was built in the 1930s on the eastern tip of the village. The temple was built on a foundation of rubble stone. The church belonged to a parish in the city of Myadel, and a priest came from the city to Yushkovichi to conduct divine services, since there was no priest of his own.

The building consists of three main architectural parts: the vestibule, the main volume and the apse. A four-pointed tower is built over the vestibule, which is covered with a four-pitched roof.

After the Great Patriotic War, a local school operated in the church. When the roof of the building began to leak, the temple was not repaired, but the building was left unattended.

Now only the walls and the tower remain of the temple.
