Yutski. Yutsky spring.
Natural site
Belarus, Minsk region, Dzerzhinsky district, Demidovichi village Council
Description
Just 28 km from the Minsk Ring Road, between the villages of Martinovichi and Yutsky, there is a unique hydrological monument – the Yutsky Spring. This place, like a piece of the mountain landscape, is hidden in the Dzerzhinsky district.
There is no need to look for noisy entertainment and picnic areas. The atmosphere of the spring, with its narrow ravine overgrown with trees and shrubs, encourages quiet walks and unity with nature. The water, like in a mountain stream, murmurs along the rocky bottom, forming small waterfalls – a sight atypical for the Belarusian countryside.
Convenient parking and stairs lead to the bridge, where you can get the cleanest water. Jets shoot straight out of the hillside, remaining cold even in the heat. A small forest trail about 100 meters long allows you to walk along the stream and enjoy the beauty of the ravine.

The Yutsky Spring is famous for its clear and delicious water, which people come to collect even from Minsk. The water here is alkaline (pH 8.9) and has a constant temperature of about 7.5 degrees in the warmer months. Due to the height difference, the water in the stream flows quite quickly – up to 2-3 m/s. The ravine is up to 150 meters long, 20-30 meters wide and up to 12 meters deep. The spring is home to a rare species of beetle, Helodes pseudominuta, whose larvae are found only in clean spring waters.
Locals call the spring "Studzyanets". There are legends associated with this place, one of which tells about the church that went underground, and the other about the unfortunate princess who drowned herself in a well with her treasures, about whom the Belarusian poet Karus Kaganets wrote.
