Yasenets. Spring "Kipyatok" (Boiling water)

On maps from the early 20th century, the location of the Svyatitsa mill was marked right on the spring stream. This is probably what the spring was previously called, and the place was clearly considered holy since ancient times. In rising-type springs, water gushes out from under the ground under pressure from the bottom up. It seems that the water is boiling. This is probably why this spring was popularly called "boiling water".

It is known that the water temperature here is about 9° all year round, and it does not freeze even in winter. The water in this spring is crystal clear and soft, considered suitable for drinking, but has a slightly unpleasant smell of hydrogen sulfide. There are no obvious sources of water pollution here, but the water definitely has an increased content of iron and copper. This can be guessed by the color of the branches that fell into the stream - they turned rusty.

The spring was consecrated in the summer of 2006, and a cross with a prayer engraved on a plaque was installed.

In 2015, beavers built a dam on a spring stream and the entire area around it eventually turned into a swamp.

A visit to this spring can be perfectly combined with a visit to the animal park in Baranovichi or a trip to Kosovo and Ruzhany. There is a recreation area near the spring, there is a gazebo where you can have a picnic. There is a convenient and safe descent to the spring.

This is a very beautiful geyser-type spring, it looks cool and very unusual. The sight is incredibly mesmerizing!
