Voistom. The grave of the writer Ignatiy Khodko.

In the village of Voistom, Smorgon district, there are several monuments of architecture, archeology, geology and antiquity. At the beginning of the 20th century, a huge Catholic church of the Holy Trinity was built here. If you go to the place from Smorgon, you will see the Voistom boulder monument of geology and the monument of archeology – the hillfort.

If you walk from the church along Vishnevskaya Street to the outskirts of the village, you will pass near the stone chapel, which was built of rubble stone and near the monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War.

At the edge of the street on the left side you will see the old local cemetery.

A stone chapel with the burial of the famous Belarusian and Polish writer Ignatiy Khodko (1794-1861) has been preserved in the cemetery.
