Vishnevo. Church of St. Thaddeus.

In the 18th century, there was a wooden church in the town of Vishnevo, where a Jesuit mission operated. The Catholic Jesuit order arose in the 16th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, local owners Sulistrovsky allocated funds for a new brick church, built in 1820. After the suppression of the anti-Russian uprising of Kastus Kalinovsky, the church was handed over to Orthodox believers and the building was rebuilt.

At the beginning of the 20th century, a new two-tower Catholic church was built next to the church, which was dismantled by German troops for defensive purposes during World War I. During the Polish era, the church was returned to the Catholics and the building was reconstructed.

The church is built in the classical style. The building is rectangular in plan, a hall church without an apse. It is covered with a gable roof. The main façade is decorated with a four-column Doric portico. The interior of the church is decorated with three altars. The main altar contains an icon painted in the 19th century by the famous Belarusian artist Jan Damel (1780 – 1840). All three altars are made in the classical style. Two semi-columns separate the main altar from the prayer hall. A spiral staircase leads to the choir.

A two-story bell tower was built next to the church, and a park was laid out nearby. The church is active.
