The Church of St. Lawrence in Ushachi is an outstanding monument of architecture in the Neo—Gothic style.

The Church of St. Lawrence in Ushachi is an example of Neo-Gothic architecture, which magically rises among beautiful landscapes. Built of red brick, not covered with plaster, in the period from 1908 to 1913, this church is not only of historical value, but also a spiritual refuge for parishioners.

The first shrine in Ushachi appeared under the Dominicans and was founded in 1716 by Jerome Zhaba and his wife Katarzyna Protasevich. After receiving the Magdeburg rights, the Ushachi chose St. Lawrence as their patron saint, honoring him not only in the temple, but also in the surrounding area.

The church was closed in 1932, but thanks to the efforts of the community of believers, it was reopened in 1994. From 2001 to 2004, a large number of restoration works took place, updating its splendor. And today it harmoniously fits into the picturesque surroundings. Architectural details such as pointed arches, stained glass windows and tall spires emphasize the Neo-Gothic style and create an impressive atmosphere.

As a cultural and spiritual center for the entire community, St. Lawrence Church invites visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of history and admire the unique Neo-Gothic style. Regular services and beautifully restored elements of the building symbolize faith and hope for local residents. It attracts not only pilgrims, but also tourists who want to learn more about its history and enjoy the beauty of its architecture. The picturesque scenery around the church makes it a popular place for walks and photos. The Church of St. Lawrence in Ushachi is not only an architectural heritage, but also an important part of cultural life.
