The Holy Dormition Church in the village of Tevli is an architectural monument of the pseudo-Russian trend.

The Assumption Church in the village of Tevli was built in 1872 from brick and is a striking example of the retrospective Russian style. The exterior appearance of the temple is determined by decorative elements such as profiled cornices, trim panels above the window openings and arched belts.

The church's composition is dominated by a two-tiered bell tower with a hipped roof topped with an onion head. A faceted light drum, which is also crowned with an onion dome, is located above the main volume, which has the shape of a cube. The main volume is covered by a sloping four-pitched roof with a small dome, and a semicircular apse with a sacristy adjoins it.

The church has a refectory, and above the vestibule rises a two-tiered octagonal bell tower, covered with a tent with a dome on a narrow octagonal neck. The apse and refectory are lower than the main volume, and the sacristy is even lower. The facades are decorated with semicircular window openings with architraves and arched belts. The semicircular portals of the main and side entrances are framed by decorative triangular profiled sandra and flat blades.

The interior of the church is notable for its false ceiling.

The Assumption Church is a monument of architecture of the pseudo-Russian eclectic trend and is located on the outskirts of the village of Tevli.

Since May 14, 2007, the temple has been included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus.

The local parish in the village of Tevli also includes the cemetery church of the Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica.
