Description
In 1884, a local landowner Ignaty Vishnevsky erected a family chapel-tomb in the cemetery located between the villages of Teiki and Malaya Borzdyn. This building was made of stone under the influence of the architectural style of the Gothic Revival. Around the chapel in the cemetery, you can see many old graves on which Polish surnames are engraved, which indicates the Polish origin of the people buried here.

Teiki. Chapel-tomb of the Vishnevskys
If you follow the road from Zaslavl in the direction of Novoe Polye, between the villages of Teiki and Malaya Borzdyn, you can stumble upon an ancient Polish cemetery. This cemetery houses the historical chapel-tomb of the Vishnevsky family, built at the end of the 19th century. The tomb chapel is made in the Neo-Gothic style and is built of rubble stone and brick. However, the tomb was originally built of wood in the early 19th century. It was built by representatives of the Volodkovich family, who owned an estate in the village of Malaya Borzdyn.
Later, this estate passed into the possession of the Vishnevsky family, and one of the members of this family, Ignaty Vishnevsky, decided to erect a stone tomb for his family. In the 1930s, the chapel was looted, and in Soviet times it was abandoned and gradually destroyed.
In the period from 2015 to 2016, work began on its gradual restoration. The restoration work was initiated by local businessman Yuriy Boyko. Through the efforts of this enthusiast and those who supported his initiative, it was possible to clear the area around the chapel, cover its roof, strengthen the walls and install new doors. It is hoped that in the future this chapel will regain its former importance.
