One of the main attractions of the agro-town of Svisloch.
The Yatsko House was built by the children of the villager Vasily Yatsko as a sign of respect and gratitude to their father. It was built from bricks brought from the Bobruisk plant "Rosenberg". The building had features of the Art Nouveau style. It attracted attention with its unusually skillful design of the window openings, as well as a beautiful balcony, which was a favorite place for the Yatsko family to relax.
However, my father did not have long to use this house...
After his death, a priest lived here. During the First World War, the house was slightly damaged, but later it was put in order. In 1927, there was a military registration and enlistment office here, and later - the Department of Internal Affairs. The house was also used by the local military garrison for their own purposes.
During the Great Patriotic War, the house was occupied by German occupiers for a military commandant's office. After the end of the war, a village store was organized here. It continues to be located here to this day: the first floor of the building is reserved for the store.
The Yatsko House is a very interesting architectural monument of the past. In a beautiful place, the originality of architectural thought and the skill of the builders of that time were embodied in an unusual object. On the main facade of the building, you can see an image of the symbol of the Jewish faith, Mezuzah.
In March 2024, the building was put up for sale.
