Subboty. Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God.

Not far from the regional center of Drogichin there is an ancient place of Subboty, which used to be called Malye Tarakani. There is a stone Orthodox church in the village. The temple was built in 1797 at the expense of the Basilian monastery, which was in a nearby town called Imenin. One of the most famous Uniate monasteries in Belarus was located here, where meetings of the leadership of the Basilian Order sometimes took place. The stone church in the late Vilno Baroque style at the monastery was built in 1710, and the stone monastery building itself was built in 1779. Since the beginning of the 18th century, the head of the order lived here and Uniate priests and icon painters were trained here. There was a large library. Only ruins and foundations have remained from the monastery to our time.

In the 19th century, uniatism was banned in the Russian Empire and the church was handed over to Orthodox believers. In the winter of 1897, the church in Subboty was renamed from Tarakani. At the end of the 19th century, two more temples were assigned to the church in Tarakani (a former Uniate monastery) and in Losintsy. There were also two parish schools attached to the church.

Two priests and two psalmists were served at the church. The temple also had its own land: haymaking, arable land, and land attached to the church estate.

The monument was erected in the classical style. It consists of a main volume and a triangular apse. The main volume is rectangular in plan, which is covered by a gable roof. The interior is of a communal type. There are choirs above the entrance. The church has been restored.

There are ancient graves of priests near the temple.
