Strubnitsa. The Bisping Estate.
In the Mosty district, in the village of Strubnitsa, the remains of the Bisping estate have been preserved. For the first time in historical sources, the place is found in the 15th century during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. At that time, it belonged to Nikolai Zygmuntovich. In 1540, it belongs to Prince Semyon Glinsky. Then you become the property of Queen Bona. Queen spent money on the construction of the first Catholic church.
In the 17th century, the place was owned by the Kamaevskys.
At the end of the 18th century, Strubnitsa became the property of the Bisping family of German origin.
The main estate of Boleslav Bisping, who held the position of marshal Starodubsky, was Golovchitsy in Volkovysk district. He was friends with Prince Alexander Sapieha, who owned a residence in Ruzhany. Boleslav died in 1785 and was buried in a crypt in Derechin, and in the church in Ruzhany, Prince Sapieha ordered an epitaph composition made of artificial marble to be erected in memory of his friend. The monument was made by sculptor Joseph Prukner. On the sarcophagus there is a memorial inscription and an image of the coat of arms, a portrait of Boleslav with a laurel wreath, and above it a sculpture of an angel with a trumpet.
Then Strubnitsa belongs to Boleslav's son Jan Tadeusz (1741-1822). At his expense, the decoration was made in the Trinity Church in the neighboring village of Plebanovtsy.
His youngest son Adam inherited the Strubnitsa estate. Adam held the rank of colonel in Napoleon's army. In 1846, he owned a farmstead and 4 villages, 2,473 acres of land, 255 male peasants. The estate had a brewery, two mills, two taverns, and more. Then his son Camille was in charge.
To date, several outbuildings, a watermill, a stone church and a park have been preserved.
