Stolbtsy. Cathedral of St. Anne.
The city of Stolbtsy has been known since the 16th century. The Church of St. Anne is located on a hill in the center of the city. The temple was built as a Catholic church in 1825 at the expense of Prince Adam Czartoryski. Now the building of the former church is an Orthodox church. If you climb the hill to the church by the steps, you will first see massive brick gates and a fence. The church was surrounded by a fence made of broken stone. At the entrance to the church there is a brick gate - a bell tower. The church was built in the classical style with baroque elements. This is a rectangular building with a gable roof. Above the entrance there is a figured pediment. The interior is decorated with a three-tiered iconostasis. Pre-revolutionary tiles with an ornament have been preserved on the floor. There are many ancient icons in the church.
