Starye Peski. Holy Trinity Church.

In the Berezovsky district there is an interesting place called Peski, which was formed from Starye (Old) and Novye (New) Peski (Sands). First of all, people come here to see the estate and park complex of the Puslovsky magnates - a monument of the 18th and 19th centuries of the classical era. The park, outbuildings and majestic gates leave no one indifferent.

And very often, tourists and guests notice, the ancient wooden Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity has forgotten, located on the outskirts of the village.

In the 19th century, during the time of the Russian Empire, the village was part of the Slonim district of Grodno province. In 1827, the Trinity Church was built. Until now, there was an old Trinity Church here, which was destroyed by fire. In 1878, a new wooden iconostasis was installed in the church. The church was renovated in Soviet times in 1968.

The church was built in the traditions of folk wooden architecture. The building consists of two main parts: a prayer hall and an apse. A canopy on wooden pillars is attached to the main facade. A four-pointed bell tower is built above the main facade, which is completed with a multi-faceted tent. The church has been renovated in recent years. The territory next to the temple is landscaped.
