Ruins of a brick church of the 19th century and a post station of the 19th century in the agro-town of Sidorovichi.

In the agro-town of Sidorovichi, Mogilev region, the history of which goes back to the XVI century, there are atmospheric ruins of a brick church of the XIX century. This temple, built of brick in the shape of an octagon or octagon, despite significant destruction, still retains traces of its former greatness: fragments of murals and decorative elements. The vault, similar to the petals covering the dome, is very interesting.

The temple, shrouded in mystery and lack of information, is called the "unknown church of the 19th century". Presumably, it was erected in the period from 1861 to 1865 and consecrated in honor of St. Michael the Archangel. The temple received serious damage during the Great Patriotic War.

Conservation work was carried out several years ago, which made it possible to preserve the ruins for future generations. This place attracts lovers of abandoned locations with its mystery and historical spirit.

In addition to the ruins of the church, in Sidorovichi you can see the restored post office of the XIX century. Coordinates: 53.665282, 30.361292

In the second half of the 19th century, with the advent of the Mogilyovsko-Dovskaya road, a postal station with sixteen horses was established in the village. The structure of this postal station has survived well to the present day. The canopy above the entrance is held by cast-iron consoles decorated with intricate ornaments. The brick fence, covered with plaster, is also in good condition. The current owner respects the historical heritage and is engaged in the restoration of the facility. The postal station is a valuable example of road construction with historical and architectural significance.
