Samuilovichi Dolnye. Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

There is a stone Orthodox church of St. Nicholas in a place with a beautiful name Samuilovichi Dolnye in the Mosty district.

The temple was built during the Russian Empire in 1801 from brick and rubble stone. The temple was built at the expense of Ignatius Eskirko. Since 1864, with the help of Count Nikolai Muravyov, silver and gilded church instruments have been available here: a chalice, an altarpiece, and other items. There were 1,361 male and 1,281 female parishioners. 19 villages and towns were assigned to the church. There was also 1 attached church, five parish schools and a parish trusteeship. Two priests served at the church: the psalmist and the rector of the temple. The church had 37 desyatins of land.

The bell tower was built in 1875. In 1876, the building was rebuilt according to the design of engineer and architect Leonard Krzhizhanovsky at the expense of parishioners. After the Great Patriotic War, the church was closed in Soviet times. The shrine was handed over to Orthodox believers in the last years of the USSR in 1988. Repairs have been started.

The monument was erected in the classical style. The building has a rectangular volume, which is completed by a semicircular apse. In the middle of the temple on the roof there is an octagonal drum with an onion dome.
