The architecture of the church is made in a cruciform shape. A five-sided apse and a sacristy adjoin the main building. The blue gable roof with windows is made of metal tiles. Samokhvalovichi. The Church of the Holy Spirit

The history of the village of Samokhvalovichi begins in the 16th century. Two centuries later, it turned into a multinational settlement, where Jews were numerically predominant. At that time, two synagogues and a temple were built in the village, which passed from one denomination to another.

In 1797, this church was Uniate, but in 1812, during the war with Napoleon, it was destroyed. An 1840 bulletin describes the church as wooden, with a bell tower, but already dilapidated. The archival documents mention its reconstruction, which was carried out in accordance with the Supreme Message on the Minsk district of 1852. On July 30, 1852, the Minsk Provincial Construction and Road Commission drew up a design plan for the facade and construction of the temple.

In 1863, it was decided to build a new church to replace the old one. 5,900 rubles were allocated from the treasury for construction. In 1893, the parish church was completely renovated.

The events of the October Revolution greatly changed the fate of the temple. At first, it was turned into a club where collective farmers held meetings, showed movies and organized dances. In 1933, the church was stripped of crosses and domes, but continued to function as a club. Later, the building was destroyed by fire: the film for the screening caught fire, and the fire engulfed the temple, completely destroying it.

In the early 1990s, residents of Samokhvalovichi organized a collection of signatures in support of the creation of an Orthodox parish. With the blessing of Vladyka Filaret, they set up a committee to build a new church.

In 1995, the decayed outpatient clinic building was transferred to the church community. Thanks to donations from parishioners and the support of sponsors, the construction of a new church began, which was completed by Easter 1998, when the first service was held. The new temple has become an important spiritual center for local residents.
