The ruins of the manor complex are an architectural monument of the early 19th century.
The mention of the settlement of Rudakov dates back to the 16th century, and the manor has been mentioned since the 18th century. Initially, the estate was quite small and consisted of a residential building and a tower. The neo-Baroque palace with classical features was built of red brick in 1909-1910. Presumably, it was built on the site of a wooden house. Clinker bricks of our own production were used for its construction. The facade of the building was decorated with pilasters and bas-relief elements. In addition to the palace, the estate complex included a park with an area of 2.5 hectares, an orchard, a pond, and a stable.
The first owners of the estate were Vishnevetsky. Later it became the property of the famous Oskerko family. After some time, Oskerko transferred the estate to the landowner Stanislav Vankovich.
The Vankovichi owned the estate until 1917. Under their rule, roads, reclamation canals, factories were built here, the park was expanded and a pond was dug.
After 1917, until 1986, the Rudakov rural vocational School was located in the building of the former estate. During this period, the building was significantly rebuilt: the second floor was completed, while the unique roof of the original building was removed.
After the Chernobyl accident, all the buildings here were abandoned and were no longer used.
Today, several buildings can be found on the territory of the complex. Most of them are almost destroyed and very heavily overgrown. The house has almost collapsed, only the frame remains.
This interesting historical place is located on the border of the Chernobyl zone, there is a pointer to the ruins.
