Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum "Folvark Rakutevshchyna"
Today, the cozy atmosphere of this museum reminds visitors of the happiest period of the life of the young genius of Belarusian literature, Maxim Bogdanovich.
A museum exhibit has been recreated in the Tenant's House where Bogdanovich lived. The central place is occupied by the poet's photograph, his collection "Wreath", pictures of friends and postcards with views of Vilnius. The interior is complemented by furniture from the early 20th century, books by French authors and a straw bird as a symbol of inspiration.
The living room, kitchen and children's room have been restored in the owner's House. The romantic atmosphere described in Y. Shabuni's memoirs has been recreated in the living room. Here the poet was greeted with Belarusian hospitality.
The kitchen has been partially recreated, with typical furniture and household items. The threshing floor introduces peasant labor: vehicles and tools of that time are presented here - sickles, dacs.
Each exhibit creates the feeling that the young Bogdanovich, who lived here, only recently went out for a walk or went to the owners.
Relevant books and newspapers were used to convey the atmosphere of that time, emphasizing the education and active lifestyle of the owner, his interest in history and literature.
There are almost no things left that could remind descendants of the past, but, crossing the threshold of the house, it seems that the poet is about to enter, offer tea and read his "Zorka Venus".
Every year, a poetry and song festival "Rakutev summer" is held in Rakutev region.

Rakutsyowshchyna. Maxim Bogdanovich Museum.
There is a literary museum of the outstanding Belarusian poet Maxim Bogdanovich in the Rakutsyowshchyna folkwark in the Molodechno district.
In 1911, in the summer, M. Bogdanovich came here to visit the Lychkovsky's estate. Here the poet wrote 2 cycles of poems: "Old Belarus" and "The city" and two more works: "Veronica" and "In the village".
Honoring the poet's memory began here in the post-war period in the 1970s. In 1977, in the Rakutsyowshchyna, 2 monuments – boulders were erected in honor of the poet. The first one is like an eternal Candle of memory, and the second one has lines from Maxim's "Sonnet" written on it. A little later, in 1981, Belarusian writers planted the Maxim's Garden in honor of Bogdanovich in Rakutsyowshchyna.
The restoration of the Lychkovsky's estate began in 1991. Today, the museum includes museum objects: the tenant's house, the owner's house, Maxim's garden, threshing floor, Maxim's spring and a monument. First, the tenant's House was restored, in which M. Bogdanovich lived in the summer of 1911. As the poet himself noted, he wrote very well in this house.
Since the poet's authentic things have not been preserved, the exposition presents exhibits of those times: the only lifetime collection "wreath" in 1913, a photo of associates of V. Lastovsky, Ivan and Anton Lutskevich, a bed and a table on which books by French authors, whom M. Bogdanovich admired, are installed. The interior of those times with a photo of the Lychkovsky family has been restored in the owner's house. No folwark in those days could do without a threshing floor, where the tools of the peasant of that time were collected: sledges and a cart, as an example of blacksmithing and carpentry, wicker things made of vines and straw.
Since 2014, Rakutsyowshchyna has become a branch of the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.
