Radostovo. Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

In a place with the beautiful name of Radostovo in the Drogichin district there is an Orthodox church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

The oldest church, which is known from historical sources, was built during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 18th century and belonged to Uniate believers. In the 19th century, after the prohibition of the union in the Russian Empire, the church was handed over to Orthodox believers.

In 1847, the building was renovated. A new church was built in 1867 on the site of the old church. According to some documents, the new church was built in 1862. The church was built on a stone foundation. The shrine was founded at the expense of the state treasury. The bell tower had three bells. Metric books have been kept in the church archive since 1799. Since 1891, a parish school has been operating at the temple.

After the Great Patriotic War in Soviet times, the church was closed in 1962, and church items were moved to another church. A granary was built in the building. At the end of the existence of the USSR, the building was handed over to believers and repairs were carried out. In the summer of 1989, the church was again consecrated by priest Alexander Lesik.

The church was built in the retrospective Russian style. It consists of four main parts: the vestibule, the refectory, the prayer hall and the apse. A three-tiered bell tower is built over the vestibule. The church has been renovated in recent years.
