Prosti. Protasevich tomb-chapel.
In the Nesvizh district, right next to the M1 highway, there is a place called Prosti. A stone chapel has been built here at the local cemetery. It is not known exactly when the temple was built. It is believed that the monument was erected in the middle of the 19th century. The chapel was consecrated in honor of St. Stanislaus.
The chapel was used as a burial chapel for the Protasevich noble family. The church was also used for worship services by local catholics. After the Peace of Riga, the place was under the rule of the Polish state from 1921 until the arrival of Soviet power in 1939. After 1939, in Soviet times, the chapel was closed and gradually the shrine was looted.
The monument fell into disrepair and began to collapse. A few years ago, half of the temple was destroyed. But in 2016, the restoration of the ancient building was carried out, and the temple has now been restored.
The monument was erected in the eclectic style, and features of three architectural styles are present here: classicism, Baroque and Neo-Gothic. The building is rectangular in plan, single-room. On a stone foundation.
