Kolodezhny rov (moat). The Prineman conglomerate.

A few kilometers from Grodno, near the village of Prigodichi, there is a natural monument of national significance, the Prineman conglomerate. It has been a monument since Soviet times since 1963. The conglomerate is located on the right bank of the Neman River on the northern slope of the Kolodezhny Moat. This natural monument is a geological outcrop of pan-European and global importance and is well studied in Belarus.

Back in the days of the Russian Empire, in 1872, T. Dymchevich found rocks on the slopes of the Kolodezhny Moat that had remnants of interglacial flora. And since then, this object of nature and history began to be closely studied and explored at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

In Soviet times, the study of the natural monument continued, and in 1963 the object was officially given the status of a monument under the name: "Outcrop "Prinemanskoe 1" and "Accumulation of boulders of the boulder–pebble conglomerate "Prinemanskoe".

What the monument looks like.

These are deposits of rocks from the Late Glacial Berezinsky Glaciation, the Alexandrian Interglacial and the beginning of the Dnieper glaciation. The sediment thickness is more than 9 meters. The area is 66 thousand square meters. The ravine is one and a half kilometers long and 30 meters deep.

There is also a park from the former manor house in Prigodichi.
