Holy Trinity Church in the village of Polykovichi is the "pearl" of Mogilev region.

Polykovichi is famous for its miraculous spring, to which people almost constantly flock for water. According to popular beliefs, this spring gives happiness. If a young woman walks through it barefoot, she will find health and blessing.

There has been a chapel at the spring since ancient times, but local believers needed a full-fledged temple, since the old chapel no longer met the needs of local residents.

The first Orthodox Church in Polykovichi was founded in 1770 and was called St. Paraskevinskaya in honor of the Martyr Paraskeva, the patroness of the Polykovichi spring. It played an important role in the life of the parishioners, but in 1830 it was significantly rebuilt. The last Russian tsar Nicholas II prayed in this renovated church.

After the October Revolution, the church was destroyed, and in its place in 1992 a new church was built, consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity. During the construction of the new Holy Trinity Church, photographs and drawings of the Holy Paraskevichi Church were used.

Locals consider this church to be a symbol of the revival of the Christian faith in the region.

Holy Trinity Church in the village of Polykovichi was consecrated on January 29, 2012 by Bishop Sophrony of Mogilev and Mstislav. It is considered the "pearl" of Mogilev region.
