The Children's Museum is a cozy little museum that is interesting not only for children but also for adults.
The Children's Museum is a cozy little museum, a kind of island of childhood.
It is located in the historical part of the city in a building from the late 19th - early 20th century, located near the Western Dvina River, with wonderful views.
Initially, the museum was created as an educational space. Today, it is a place where you can spend time with family and friends. It is interesting for preschoolers, schoolchildren, and adults.
The museum features fascinating exhibits and interactive zones. The shelves with exhibits are arranged in such a way that children can pass through them and climb inside if they wish. There are also play complexes for little ones, such as the "Yacht", on which you can set off on a long voyage.
Here you can see a collection of samovars, a collection of scales, a collection of watches, a collection of stamps, a collection of postcards, a collection of antique jewelry and others. There is also a collection of various players, records, musical instruments. On one of the floors there is a collection of Soviet children's toys.
The museum's collections continue to expand, and the museum staff is constantly developing various interactive tours.
A separate stand in the museum is dedicated to outstanding people of the Polotsk land.
