Description

The village of Podvorishki begins its history from the 17th century. The old park with lime trees, which are 200 years old, has been preserved from the long-time owners of the Rimshey. At the beginning of the 20th century, the manor passed to a new owner, Tadeusz Kernowski, who built a new palace on the foundations of the old manor, which burned down during the First World War.

The building is a one-story stone building in the neoclassical style. The central part is two-storeyed, decorated with a Doric portico.

Podvorishki. Rimshey Manor.

The place of Podvorishki in the Voronovsky district has been known since the 17th century and at that time, together with the Gaytunishki, Stefan Korf owned this region.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Podvorishki had the status of a folwark, which included several nearby villages. At that time, the owner here was Baron Karol Osten–Saken. And then a romantic story happened when Osten-Saken's daughter Veronica went to be kidnapped by a married nobleman Adam Rimsha. After some time, they got married and the estate thus passed to the Romans. Later, Anna Ramsha married Tadeusz Kernowski and in 1905 the place passed to Kernowskis.

The manor of T. Kernowski was built in 1930 - 1931 on the site of an old manor house. The palace was built in the neoclassical style by architect Stefan Narebsky. The building is rectangular in plan and is located on a hill in the middle of the park. The palace is one-storey with a two-storey central part, extended by a Doric portico with four columns. The interior was decorated with lithographs with a view of Vilna, there was a portrait of Veronica Rimsha and reproductions by Arthur Grotger.

The manor park is much older than the palace and has been partially preserved. The park consists of several oak and linden trees. There is a clearing with a foliage tree and plants of local species. Near the clearing there is an alley made of spruce with a width of 6 meters. There is a gazebo with lime trees that are more than 200 years old and which have grown together with their tops.
