An architectural monument in the neo-Russian style with interesting architectural solutions and impressive exterior decoration.
The Church of All Saints was built in the settlement of Pirevichi at the expense of the local landowner Alexandra Rogovich. The local population was quite high, and there was no church here. A brick temple with an area of almost 500 square meters was erected, which had strong walls with a thickness of more than one meter, rich exterior decoration using multicolored ornamental ceramics and round rosettes. The church had a two-tiered bell tower, ending with a tent. The church building was also decorated with kokoshniks, friezes and other decorative elements. Upon completion of the construction, the temple was consecrated and from the middle of 1903, divine services began to be held in it.
In the 1920s, the bells were removed from the church. In 1930, the temple was closed, and its premises were used as a warehouse for collective farm property.
During the Great Patriotic War, the church remained active. At that time, the temple was damaged, the bell tower was blown up and destroyed. A priest who served in the temple was killed. It was only in 1944 that divine services began to be held in the church again. In Soviet times, the church remained active.
In the mid-1990s, the restoration of the church was carried out and the destroyed bell tower was restored.
The parish of the Church of All Saints in the village of Pirevichi celebrated the 120th anniversary of the consecration of the temple in the summer of 2023.
This is a very beautiful and majestic ancient temple, which has not lost its greatness. It is definitely worth seeing: the church building is in good condition and makes a very pleasant impression.
