Perstun. Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A stone Catholic church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been built on the outskirts of the village of Perstun in the Grodno region. The Greek Catholic parish in the village was established in 1780 during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

The stone church in the classical style was built in 1818 and the temple belonged to the Uniates. After the ban of Uniatism in the Russian Empire, the church was handed over to Orthodox believers. After the arrival and establishment of the Polish state in 1919, the building was handed over to Catholics. The church was consecrated in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

During the Great Patriotic War, the church was severely damaged by the Nazi invaders. But after the war, the shrine worked until the 1960s. The monument was in a neglected state. The church was handed over to the faithful in 1990 and services were restored.

The monument was built like a basilica. Rectangular in plan with an apse. A three-tiered cylindrical bell tower is built over the vestibule. There are three naves in the interior, and choirs with an organ above the entrance. The iconostasis from the Orthodox Church has been preserved, which was moved to the altar. Catholic icons are installed in the iconostasis: St. Stephen, the Virgin Mary, St. Peter and the Blessed Heart of Jesus.
