St. Nicholas Church, built in 1867 from wood, is a striking example of the neo-Russian style with elements of neoclassicism.
The architectural solution of the temple has remained almost unchanged since its construction. It includes a square main volume, a four-walled apse, a refectory and a three-tiered bell tower with an octagonal tent. The yellow-and-white coloring of the building emphasizes the uniqueness of the temple.
The temple is recognized as a historical and cultural value of the 3rd category.
Today, St. Nicholas Church not only pleases the eye with its architectural features, but also preserves priceless works of art, including icons of the XVI–XVII centuries and wooden sculpture of the 3rd quarter of the XVIII century.
This temple is not just a place for worship, but also a living witness to history, recalling the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Belarusian land.
The preservation and veneration of monuments such as St. Nicholas Church in Ozyaty plays an important role in maintaining communication between generations and preserving national identity.
