The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is an outstanding architectural monument, an example of late classicism.
The history of the church of Saints Peter and Paul dates back to 1733, when a temple already existed here. The construction of the church was funded in 1840 by Count Chapsky, which indicates the significant support of the local aristocracy.
An interesting feature of the temple is the use of brickwork in combination with wood, especially in the vestibule, which is a blind portico supported by two columns.
The stone church is an example of late classicism. Since the construction was carried out after the conversion of the Belarusian Uniates to Orthodoxy, the appearance of the temple reflects the trends of temple construction in the Russian Empire at that time. Its architectural features, such as pediments on the facades, flat pilasters and other decorative elements, emphasize this style. The bulbous domes add to the temple the features of the retrospective-Russian style, which makes it unique.
The temple is an oblong rectangle with one row of windows and a roof covered with brasswork, as well as an open wooden dome in the center. The ceiling is boarded up and painted with whitewash, the walls are whitewashed, and the floor in the altar is tiled, while in the main part of the church it is made of brick.
The main facade is decorated with a combined triangular pediment and a pointed attic. The entrance is decorated with a portico on two columns. The facades are decorated with rectangular windows with pedimented arches. Later, a rectangular room was added to the altar wall, divided into two sacristy rooms.
The church archive holds visiting records from 1833, as well as metric books from the same time.
Time has left its mark on the temple in the Lake. The rector of the church notes the need for serious restoration work. All necessary permits for repairs have been obtained, as the temple is an architectural monument.

Ozero. The Church of Peter and Paul.
A stone Orthodox church of Peter and Paul has been built in the village of Ozero in the Uzdensky district. The monument was erected in the center of the village and it is very easy to get to it. The Lake itself is located on the Minsk– Slutsk highway.
The Church of Peter and Paul was built during the Russian Empire in 1838-1840. The temple was built initially in the classical style, and later acquired the features of the retrospective–Russian style.
The first temple in the village was built during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1733. The new stone church was built in 1840 at the foundation of Count Chapsky, who had a manor house in these places in Stankovo.
In 1866, the church underwent major repairs at the expense of the treasury. It is likely that during this period the octagonal bell tower was built in the retrospective Russian style. At that time, there were metric books in the church archive from 1833.
The church included one attached church in the town of Danilovichi and two more churches in the cemetery. There are 20 villages and towns assigned to the parish. There were 1,207 male and 1,223 female parishioners. There were two priests at the temple: the rector and the psalmist. There was a stone house for the priest and wooden outbuildings.
The temple has a single rectangular volume in the plan, which is covered with a gable roof. The main facade is completed with a triangular pediment. A three-tiered iconostasis from the 19th century has been preserved in the interior.
Next to the temple there is a monument dedicated to fellow countrymen.
