The Holy Protection Church in the village of Orepichi is an outstanding example of Belarusian wooden architecture of the 18th century.

Previously, there was supposedly a Uniate wooden church on this site, which was mentioned in documents from the 1620s. By the 18th century, it had fallen into disrepair, and it was decided to build a new temple. The construction was carried out by local craftsmen with the financial support of local landowners and at the expense of voluntary donations from parishioners and funds from the treasury.

The temple was built in accordance with Orthodox canons. It consists of two log cabins: the main volume and the bell tower, united by a common cornice. The main volume has a rectangular shape, with a two-tiered bell tower adjacent to it. The roof is gable-roofed, with a small dome above the ridge. The walls are pierced by windows, and an extension adjoins the north wall. The altar part is integrated into the main volume. The bell tower consists of two tiers separated by a cornice. The exterior of the church is modest, the decor is practically absent, its role is performed by a shawl lining, sometimes lined with a herringbone pattern.

Inside the temple, the altar is separated by a two-tiered wooden iconostasis with a carved royal gate, above which is an oval icon of the Last Supper. The iconostasis is a work of applied art, and the icons are examples of ancient Belarusian painting.

In Soviet times, despite the difficulties, the temple continued to operate.

Today, the Orepichi church is operational. Parishioners actively participate in spiritual and charitable events. Concerts dedicated to religious holidays and Mother's Day are traditionally held.

On August 8, 2024, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the church on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of its consecration.
