The ruins of the manor house of the Nitoslavskys in the village of Opytnaya.

The ruins of the Nitoslavsky manor house are located in the village of Opytnaya, near Bigosovo. This brick manor was built in the middle of the 19th century by the landowner Witold Nitoslavsky. A park was laid out around the estate and a pond was dug, which gave this place a special atmosphere.

The manor is an architectural monument of late classicism, but today only ruins remain of it. In February 1917, the owner of the estate left the estate and since then it has been going through various stages of its history. Over the years, the border guard detachment, construction and veterinary technical schools were located here.

Before the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War, an experimental agricultural station was organized on the territory of the estate, which gave the village its modern name. Previously, the estate was called Bigosovo and it is believed that Nitoslavsky named it after the Polish dish bigos.

Despite the fact that the palace survived during the Great Patriotic War, since the mid-1970s it has ceased to be used and remained unattended.

In the last decades of the 20th century, the estate was dismantled: first the windows were removed, then the floors were removed, and over time the roof deteriorated.

Currently, the former palace is in a deplorable state, and the courtyard park has gone wild, making this place a symbol of lost history and architectural heritage.
