Obodovtsy. Farm buildings ruins of the Bogdanovich estate.

The Bogdanovich estate was surrounded by a rectangular park surrounded by alleys, with a central clearing where European larch grew. This place served not only for recreation, but also for organizing the passage of carriages and bric-a-brac. The entrance to the park was decorated with an iron gate, and a two-row alley lined with fir trees led to the stalls.

On the territory of the estate there was a farmyard, which today is one of the village streets. There were two ponds connected by a canal, as well as a stable and a border outpost building. The farmyard was surrounded by many buildings, including a distillery, garage, cowsheds, and dairy. In 1938, a gardener's cottage was built with a winter garden in the basement.

With the advent of Soviet power, the estate underwent significant changes. The manor house burned down, and the chapel was looted. Some buildings continued to be used, such as the dairy and cowshed. People lived in the house where the border guards were previously housed until the 90s.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the collective farm fell into disrepair, and the fate of the farm buildings became sad. The distillery was gradually dismantled into bricks, and the buildings fell into disrepair. Rumors that someone wanted to dismantle the factory building remained rumors. For a long time, there was a metal wine container inside the factory, which was removed several years ago.

Today it is a historically unique place. Our sad story. It is a pity that everything is rapidly collapsing, because the preservation of such buildings for future generations is of great importance.
