The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is an architectural monument of the middle of the XVIII century.
The first wooden church was built here in 1480. In 1749, a new church was erected.
In 1880, during the restoration of the temple, an octagonal tower was added to the pediment of the main facade. And in 1882, a wooden chapel was built in the cemetery. A two-tiered bell tower with a four-pitched roof was erected near the church in 1852.
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a monument of wooden architecture. Three carved altars are made in Rococo style. Inside the temple there is an organ decorated with wooden figures of angels and cherubs, as well as gilded carvings of this style.
The altars contain icons from the second half of the 18th century, such as the Coronation of the Virgin and Ascension, and wooden sculptures of Saints Peter and Paul from the end of the 18th century are installed on the sides of the main altar.
The carved altars of the church are included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus.
It's a very unusual place. There is a beautiful church and a chapel in the cemetery nearby.
