The abandoned chapel-tomb of the Dybovsky family is the main attraction of Novaya Ruditsa.

At one time, Novaya Ruditsa belonged to the famous Radziwill family and in 1588 was part of the Koidanovsky county. However, in the middle of the 19th century, the village and the estate passed to the Dybovskys, albeit for a short time. In 1863-1864, their possessions were confiscated, and the Dybovskys themselves were exiled to Penza.

One of the main attractions of Novaya Ruditsa is the chapel-tomb of the Dybovsky family. It is located between the villages of Borovoe and Novaya Ruditsa, and, unfortunately, is not very clearly visible from the road, so you should be careful.

The chapel is a circular building made of brick with rubble stone sprinkles and dates back to the middle of the 19th century. Its architectural style is Neo-Gothic. It is clear that the chapel had two levels. The crypt was located below, and the altar part was opposite the entrance.

The building is quite well preserved, visitors have the opportunity to enter and get acquainted with its interior. It is noticeable that the chapel is covered with a new roof, which was made recently.

This place is an important historical and cultural heritage of the region.
