Description

Just a few kilometers from Nesvizh, near the village of Zavitaya, there is a unique ecotrope "The Magical world of the Zavitan Forest" – a real treasure for family recreation and exploring nature.

The trail is divided into several thematic zones. The educational part introduces the flora and fauna through interactive platforms: "Trees of our forest", "Kingdom of mushrooms", "Birds of the forest edge" and others. Children are really excited about the "Barefoot Trail" – a sensory path made of moss, sand, cones and stones, along which they can walk barefoot.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there is an "Obstacle Course" – a 300-meter strip with logs and crossings. Wooden figures of heroes of Belarusian and Slavic fairy tales, from Kolobok to Baba Yaga, are waiting for guests at the Glade of Fairy Tales. The "Wicker City" and the "Stone Valley" are also located here.

This is an ideal place to spend a day outdoors, combining walking with learning and games.

The Magical world of the Zavitan Forest: a journey into a fairy tale near Nesvizh.

Just eight kilometers from the famous Nesvizh Castle, near the village of Zavitaya, there is a unique place for family recreation and environmental education - the ecotrope "The Magical world of the Zavitan Forest". The grand opening of this facility took place in September 2020, and since then the trail has become a real gem of the Nesvizh district.

A two-kilometer walk

The route is about 2 km long, with 22 interactive platforms. The whole journey is divided into three thematic lines: educational, sports and recreation, and fabulous and informative. Information signs with proverbs, folk signs and interesting facts about the forest are installed along the trail.

Educational platforms

The first part of the route is dedicated to getting to know the flora and fauna of the Belarusian forest. Here you can learn about the trees, mushrooms, birds, insects and animals of our forests - each stand is equipped with interactive elements and tasks. In the "Search Glade" they teach how to navigate in the forest, and in the "Forest Pharmacy" collections of medicinal herbs are collected. Special attention should be paid to the Oak Grove and the insect hotel, a special building where forest "residents" can settle.

Barefoot trail and obstacle course

One of the main "features" of the route is the "Barefoot Trail" (or the Trail of Sensations). Here you can walk barefoot on a variety of natural surfaces: soft moss, river pebbles, pine cones, sand, gravel and even clay. This includes foot massage and true unity with nature.

After that, a 300-meter "Obstacle course" begins - for those who want to test their dexterity and coordination: logs, crossings, decking - everyone will find a challenge.

The Land of fairy tales and the Stone Valley

But the most magical thing awaits at the end of the journey. The Land of Fairy Tales is a real open-air museum. Here you can find wooden figures of the heroes of your favorite fairy tales: Kolobok, Ivan Tsarevich with the Frog Princess, Masha and the bear, the Robber Nightingale, Kikimora, the Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven dwarfs, as well as characters from Slavic mythology.

Nearby there is a "Stone Valley" - a composition of stones of different sizes, a "Wicker City" with products from vines, "Straw wonders" and a "City of Birds" with unique birdhouses.
