The Gorvatt's Estate is an architectural monument, an important part of the history of Narovlya and the whole of Belarus.

The Narovlya estate was bought by the Gorvatts in 1816. After Ignatius Gorvatt's death, the estate was inherited by his sons, one of whom laid out a park here and built a palace. Over time, a chapel, a fountain, a ceremonial stable, a greenhouse, a temple, a guard house, and a rose garden were built on the territory of the complex. Farm buildings and industrial buildings were also located near the palace.

The Gorvatt Manor is designed in a style that combines elements of classicism and romanticism. The building was surrounded by a well-maintained landscape park with rare trees and shrubs, which created an atmosphere of privacy and harmony with nature. The park was designed taking into account the natural landscape, which further emphasized the scenic beauty of the area. Every route, every alley and path provided new views and impressions. A calm, rural lifestyle surrounded by nature was imitated. The splendor of the park was made up of local tree species: oak, ash, maple, acacia, linden, alder, spruce, pine.

The estate served as the center of the cultural life of the region. Various events were held here, including balls and literary evenings, which brought together representatives of the local intelligentsia. The Gorvatt Estate became a place where various cultural and social trends intersected, which contributed to the development of local culture.

The interior of the palace had a classic layout with numerous spacious rooms and halls, corridors in the side wings of the palace. Each room had individually patterned parquet floors, beautiful chandeliers, and colorful tile stoves. The walls of the palace were very densely hung with a lot of family portraits, as well as paintings on military themes, landscapes and paintings in frames of plaster stucco decoration.

In the mid-1860s, Daniel Gorvatt left Narovlya and settled in one of his estates in the Kiev province. In the period from 1902 to 1914, serious work was carried out in the palace to improve its appearance.

During the Great Patriotic War, the building's ceilings and exterior decor were damaged.

In the post-war years, the palace was reconstructed as a school. Subsequent construction work caused damage to the monument, architectural elements and exterior decor were lost.

Today, the Gorvatt's estate is a cultural heritage site and attracts the attention of tourists and researchers. Despite the destruction, the building and its surroundings continue to retain their historical value. Restoration work and measures to protect the monument help preserve this unique heritage for future generations.

The Gorvatt's Estate is not only an architectural monument, but also an important part of the history of Narovlya and the whole of Belarus, reflecting the spirit of the times and cultural traditions of the second half of the 19th century.
