This monument was created in honor of the novel "Na Rostanyakh". "Na Rostanyakh" is an epic novel by the Belarusian writer Yakub Kolas, published in 1922. It tells about the life of a Belarusian village at the beginning of the 20th century, about how people resist difficult living conditions and try to build a future.

The monument dedicated to the novel "Na Rostanyakh" by Yakub Kolas embodies the spirit of the Belarusian village of the early 20th century. The novel tells about the life of peasants, their struggle with difficulties and dreams of a better life. The novel depicts the life of a peasant family, their work, love, tragedies, hopes and dreams. The plot centers on the love story of Mikola, who goes to the city in search of a better life, and the beautiful Larisa. Their love goes through many trials, and at the end of the novel they meet again, but not as young people, but as experienced and wise people who have been through a lot.
People say goodbye to their loved ones near this monument. And here lovers propose to their ladies. And during the wedding they drive around the monument in a wedding procession.
